The CD Index is associated with EMusic and as long as there is even the
slightest association, this will give the RIAA something to grab on to no
matter how ludicrous the claim may be. Plus, I would really like to play a
good game and not piss off other companies or legal bodies. Escient is the
notable exception here, of course.

No I don't like it. But I really dislike the idea of fighting battles over
and over again. Its the same as not reusing code and reinventing the wheel.
The folks at lyrics.ch have dealt with Harry Fox -- why should we have to
