Not necessarily - a firewall could block DNS and provide an HTTP proxy -
bingo, you have HTTP but no DNS. Which brings up the fact that if we use
HTTP we need to make sure that we can use HTTP proxies.

not http would be useless, right!


I can't see why DNS-relaying should be a problem.
