The Solaris stuff I checked in is based on the information from
the Solaris 2.7 man pages (I put an URL somewhere in the code)
and the observation that the Linux system obviously was modeled after it.
I will look at you stuff tonight or tomorrow night in detail.
For arranging thinks it would be very helpful if you grab
one of the other binaries (Linux, Win32, FreeBSD, Irix..)
and try out your test CD (U2..) on such a plattform - so you
have a valid ID to compare with.
I assume you have a PC somewhere, or? :-)
