Yep. Always a good idea to try to apply known tools on a new problem.

My questions:

- Are you proposing to add cdinfo information to the existing DNS databases
or are you rather proposing to model the cdinfo service ("CDIS" :) very
closely to the DNS one?

- If the former was the case - would everyone who operates existing DNS
infrastructure automatically carry CDIS stuff?

- What is a negative cache?
