Napster has a company behind the product that can be sued.
With a de-centralised system using NNTP that is not possible.

They have implemented a Java applet viewer that prevents people to
copy or print the lyrics from their active server pages.

The harry fox agency (the legal-screwballs-body) demanded this
feature before giving permission to use their material.

Do we like the idea of linking to a page that only displays 8 lines of
lyrics at once and has no option to scroll backwards or forwards??
